Senior Node.js Developer

We're looking for a great Node.js developer to join our team.

You'll have an opportunity to participate in starting a new B2B/B2C development, contribute to the engineering process, add value by analyzing and proposing solutions in surrounding areas.

CUSTOMER: A Middle East media company looking to obtain flexible and cost-saving instruments for improving the services, presence, and collaboration between key players in the target domain.

TEAM: PM/BA, 4 DEV, 2 QA, UX designer, DevOps engineer, several consultants.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 3+ years of experience in backend software development
• Strong knowledge of Node JS and server-side frameworks (NestJS/Koa.JS, Express.JS)
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Understanding of microservices
• Strong proficiency with Rest API design & implementation experience
• Understanding of Scale and Performance consideration
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
• At least intermediate English, both verbal and written
• Pro-activity in all the aspects
• Attention to details

WOULD BE A PLUS

• Understanding of scalable AWS application hosting (EC2, ECS, S3, SQS)
• Proficient understanding of CI/CD and tool
• Past experience in marketplace development projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Play a key role of the team, supervise less senior team members
• Collaborate closely with other team members to solve problems, establish processes and deliver a high-quality application
• Research, design and create features
• Participation in technical interviews
