Five clients, five 5-star reviews of ByteAnt's Umbraco work.
Five clients, five 5-star reviews of ByteAnt's Umbraco work.

We've had a genuinely busy few months at ByteAnt. Between major website upgrades with Stripe integrations and complex Umbraco CMS migrations from 13 all the way to 17, our team has been heads down on work that's easy to get wrong and hard to get right.

In the last few weeks, five clients left five star reviews on Trustpilot (5 5s!), every one of them about Umbraco development, Umbraco support or an Umbraco upgrade we carried out for them. We're proud of this work in a way that's hard to fake, so instead of paraphrasing it, here's what they actually said.

ByteAnt's Umbraco service reviews

"Genuine, deep architectural mastery"

"Managing enterprise Umbraco platforms demands more than superficial coding ability; it requires genuine, deep architectural mastery. This team possesses that crucial level of technical depth — they know the CMS at a fundamental level. Their ongoing support is exceptional: fast, proactive, and highly dependable."
— Eddie, Virtual Masses (United States)

"Always on hand to fix or discuss any issues"

"Having only been working alongside the team at ByteAnt for a short while, they are always on hand to fix or discuss any issues we encounter. Looking forward to continuing to work with the team, where they provide a professional and reliable service."
— Steve, Goode Sport Ltd. (United Kingdom)

Deep Umbraco expertise, applied systematically

Umbraco has been our core specialization for years, not a side skill. Our team knows the CMS ecosystem inside out, from the content versioning model to how the block editors serialize data under the hood. That depth is what separates an upgrade that mostly works from one that ships with zero issues, which is the actual bar these reviews are describing.

Before we touch a single line, we run a systematic audit of what actually needs to move: every content type and document type, and, the part most upgrade plans skimp on, every custom Umbraco backoffice extension and property editor, plus any code reaching into APIs that changed between major versions. Backoffice customizations are usually where upgrades quietly break. A custom dashboard or property editor built against an old API surface won't just recompile because the rest of the site does.

Timing matters too. Umbraco 13 is an LTS release, but its bugfix support already ended in December 2025 and it reaches full end of life on 14 December 2026. Umbraco 17 is the current LTS, supported until 2028. As a team of Umbraco developers who track every release's EOL date closely, we push clients still on 13 to move before that deadline rather than after, which is exactly the kind of planning these reviews are describing.

Thinking about your own Umbraco upgrade?

If your site is still on Umbraco 13, the end of life clock is real, and if you're running something even older it's already past due. If you just want an Umbraco agency that won't disappear after go live, we'd like to talk. See how we approach Umbraco CMS development and upgrades, or get in touch directly. We're always happy to talk Umbraco, whether that's a full migration or just a second opinion from an Umbraco expert who's done it before.
