Security patches, fixes and marketing support for your Umbraco website, from the team that builds Umbraco products. One plan: €300 a month for a day of work.
Umbraco support and maintenance keeps your website secure, working and improving after launch. Maintenance is the planned work, such as security patches, backup checks and a monthly summary; support is what you ask for, from fixes to SEO, tracking and help with content. One plan covers both, for €300 a month.
On Umbraco Cloud, Umbraco applies security patches for you, and we check your site after each one. On Azure or your own servers, we follow Umbraco HQ's security releases and patch within 5 business days, critical ones within 2.
When something breaks or needs a small change, such as a new page section or a form that should go to a different inbox, you tell us. An engineer who knows your site does it.
We fix what Ahrefs or Semrush reports, for search engines and AI answers alike (SEO and GEO). We also keep Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics working, add events and parameters, and connect new tools through Tag Manager.
Where do I change this? How do I add this kind of content? Ask us, and we show your team how, or do it for you.
When your team needs something new on a page, we add it: a new field on a block, a new block or a new page type, ready for editors to use.
Each month we check that backups run and send a summary of the hours used and the work done. It also flags what's coming, such as the next Umbraco upgrade.
The Umbraco support plan costs €300 a month and includes a day (8 hours) of work. If you only need help now and then, pay as you go at €40 an hour instead. There's no minimum term, and every client starts with a free health check.

Not sure what shape your Umbraco site is in?
Book a free health check, and we'll tell you what to fix first and what can wait.
We send a short checklist: code repository, hosting, and Umbraco and analytics logins. We don't need the previous agency's help, though it makes the handover quicker.
We review the Umbraco version, packages, security, hosting, backups, tracking setup and code. You learn what needs fixing first and what can wait.
We deal with anything urgent and record how every page looks today, so later changes are checked against it automatically.
The monthly plan begins, with documentation of your site that stays with you, in your own repository.
Umbraco 7 to 12 no longer get security patches, and Umbraco 13 gets none from 14 December 2026. We support these sites too, including Umbraco 7 support, and keep them as safe as we can until they're upgraded: we check packages, tighten the setup and watch for problems.
What nobody can do is patch a version Umbraco HQ no longer fixes. The lasting answer is an upgrade, and our Umbraco upgrade page shows the path from each version.
Your requests go straight to engineers who know your site, not to a help desk that passes them on.
Two Umbraco developers work on every account, so someone who knows your site is always there, even during holidays and sick days.
We work with SEO, analytics and tracking as well as code, so your marketing team needs one supplier for both.
AI helps us find the cause of a problem faster, working on a local copy of your site. An engineer approves every fix before it goes live.
An Umbraco developer and our DevOps and Azure administrator can bring your site back online, any day from 7:00 to 22:00 CET, weekends and holidays included.
You sign with an EU company, under EU law. We sign an NDA before we see your code, and the code is yours.
ByteAnt is the author of ByteEditor, a commercial visual website builder for Umbraco, listed on the Umbraco Marketplace, running on 30+ production websites and supported on Umbraco 13 and 17 LTS.
Supporting our own product on every Umbraco release means we see what a patch or a package update changes before it reaches your site. The demo shows an editor building a page from ready-made blocks, without a developer.
We upgraded the international NGO's website to Umbraco 17 on Umbraco Cloud in 3 weeks, with 0 issues after go-live. Umbraco Cloud now applies the security patches, and we handle the changes the team asks for.
We upgraded the UK company's Umbraco online shop from 13 to 17 on Umbraco Cloud in 2 weeks, with 0 issues after go-live, and we support it.
We built topsoft's Swiss software marketplace on Umbraco and maintain it: vendor accounts, software search, a blog, events and jobs.
We engaged ByteAnt to maintain our web presence and comparison database—a core part of our business. We were attracted by their technical expertise, eagerness, trust, and budget-conscious approach. They helped develop our marketplace for Swiss software vendors using Umbraco CMS, including GUI and workflow design. This platform became the backbone of our company, demonstrating ByteAnt's reliability and efficiency.

We give their services my highest recommendation. Managing enterprise Umbraco platforms demands more than superficial coding ability; it requires genuine, deep architectural mastery. This team possesses that crucial level of technical depth—they know the CMS at a fundamental level. Moreover, their ongoing support is exceptional: fast, proactive, and highly dependable.

Our Umbraco support plan costs €300 a month and includes a day (8 hours) of work, with extra hours at €40. If you only need help now and then, you can pay as you go at €40 an hour instead.
Maintenance is the planned work that keeps a site healthy: security patches, backup checks and keeping packages current. Support is the work you ask for, from fixing a broken form to adding a tracking event. Our plan covers both, so you don't need two contracts.
On the support plan we reply to every request within 1 business day; pay-as-you-go requests within 2. Our working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00–17:00 UK time (9:00–18:00 CET, Denmark time). A site that is down or a security issue goes first, and if your site goes down outside those hours, see the question about emergencies below.
Yes. Many of our support requests come from marketing managers rather than developers: fixing what Ahrefs or Semrush flags, adding Google Analytics events and parameters, and setting up tags and triggers in Google Tag Manager. We also connect new marketing tools through Tag Manager.
Yes, and it's a common starting point. A free health check shows what we'd fix first. We don't need the previous agency's help, though access to the code repository and hosting makes the handover quicker.
Yes. Neither version gets security patches any more, so we keep the site as safe as we can, with package checks and a tighter setup, and plan the upgrade with you. The free upgrade audit tells you what moving to Umbraco 17 would take.
Security patches are included: on Umbraco Cloud, Umbraco applies them and we check your site; on other hosting, we apply them. Minor Umbraco updates rarely bring a business benefit, so we apply them when they fix a security issue, add a feature worth having, or you ask. A move to a new major version, such as 13 to 17, is a separate fixed-price upgrade.
Your site stays where it is: Umbraco Cloud, Azure or your own servers, and backups stay with your hosting. If you're on Azure, our Azure-certified specialists can manage the hosting too.
If your site goes down in the evening, at a weekend or on a public holiday, we start on it within 2 hours, any time between 7:00 and 22:00 CET, Denmark time (6:00–21:00 UK). An Umbraco developer and our DevOps and Azure administrator can both bring it back online. We don't cover the night, and the time comes out of your plan's hours.
Yes, and it saves you hours. When something breaks, AI helps us read your site's logs and error reports, connect the errors to their cause and test a fix, so we find the problem faster and you pay for less time. We use it the same way on issues our monthly check turns up. AI works on log exports and a local copy of your site, never on your live website, and an engineer reviews every fix before it goes live through our normal deployment.
Your data stays protected: we use Claude on a business plan whose terms exclude training on customer data, and passwords and keys are kept out of AI's reach. If your policy restricts AI, we agree the rules with you before we start.
They roll over to the next month, then expire. So a quiet month followed by a busy one still gets two days of work.
No. The plan runs month to month with 30 days' notice, and you own all the code we write, so you can move to another supplier whenever you like.
